• Week Ahead In Discovery 09/03/26
  It’s been another busy and exciting week in school! The children have thoroughly enjoyed the World Book Day celebrations across the school and it has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm for reading and storytelling.

  Great start to Term 5! The children are enthusiastic about our exciting new topic on the Ancient Rome. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity already.

  The week has ended with an exciting science theme, focusing on learning about our amazing human body. The children have also enjoyed their class treat!

  Discovery class have had a fantastic week and have been working incredibly hard in class. As a result of their brilliant effort and attitude, they have earned a class treat. well done, Discovery!

  Thursday was National Puzzle Day, and we devoted our maths session to solving riddles, addition and subtraction puzzles, and some abstract creative challenges.

  It has been fantastic to hear all the children read out their letters to a scientist working in Antarctica. They asked some very well thought-out questions, and I was extremely impressed.

  It has been a great second week of Term 3 in our class. The children have been highly engaged and enthusiastic as we begin our topic on Antarctica.

  We would like to wish all our children and families a very happy and healthy New Year. It has been wonderful to welcome the children back after a lovely two-week break.

• End of Term 2
  It was a lovely way to end Term 2 on a high with our disco! The children have truly worked incredibly hard throughout this very long term and most certainly deserve a well-earned Christmas break filled with lots of rest and quality time with family.
