    It’s been another busy and exciting week in school! The children have thoroughly enjoyed the World Book Day celebrations across the school and it has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm for reading and storytelling.

    Thursday was National Puzzle Day, and we devoted our maths session to solving riddles, addition and subtraction puzzles, and some abstract creative challenges.

    It has been fantastic to hear all the children read out their letters to a scientist working in Antarctica. They asked some very well thought-out questions, and I was extremely impressed.

    It was a lovely way to end Term 2 on a high with our disco! The children have truly worked incredibly hard throughout this very long term and most certainly deserve a well-earned Christmas break filled with lots of rest and quality time with family.
