Dear Parents and Carers,

I would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome both you and your child to Discovery Class. I’m really looking forward to meeting you and sharing the exciting learning journey we’ll be embarking on each week and throughout the year.

Mrs. Burbedge will be teaching all day on Wednesdays. She is also looking forward to meeting you and getting to know the children.

This first week will focus on helping the children settle into their new class and daily routines, as well as giving us time to get to know them better and to understand each child’s current knowledge and learning needs.

As the children move into Key Stage 2, the pace and expectations of teaching and learning naturally increase. Thank you in advance for your continued support, both at school and at home—it makes a real difference.
