We are looking forward to a much cooler and more comfortable week, which should make learning and playing outdoors much more enjoyable!
Monday
Lessons will run as normal.
Tuesday – Whole School Photo
On Tuesday, the children will be taking part in the whole school photograph at 9:30am.
Children from Adventure Class upwards should wear their jade polo shirt with navy bottoms or a summer dress.
As we also have PE on Tuesday, children should come to school in their regular school uniform and bring their PE kits with them.
Wednesday – Sports Day and BBQ
Sports Day is due to take place on Wednesday 1st July, with Thursday 2nd July as the reserve day if needed.
- Unicorn Class will begin at 12:30pm.
- The rest of the school will start at 1:00pm.
Families are warmly invited to attend. Please feel free to bring your own chairs or picnic blankets. On arrival, please wait at the side black gate where you will be welcomed in at the appropriate time.
FONS will be serving food and drinks for spectators. Please note that these are for adults and spectators, not for the children taking part in the races.
Maths
This week we will be continuing and completing our unit on Money, giving the children further opportunities to practise recognising coins and notes, adding amounts, finding change, and solving money problems.
Science
A continuation and completion of our topic Plant.
