English:
This week, we have explored and identified the key features of a biography. We have now completed our class reading text, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. They have learned all about what made Sir Ernest Shackleton such a great explorer.
Over the coming week, the children will write and complete their own biographies, using adjectives as well as adverbs of time and manner.

Maths:
We completed our assessment on Multiplication B and have started our next unit on Measurements (length and perimeter).

Afternoon subjects continued as normal.

• SPaG booklet – page 17

• Maths worksheets

• Times table practice

• Daily 10 minutes of reading (ideally using VIPERS)

In addition, your child will be sent home a book review book to complete a review on any book of their choice. This will be given out on Fridays and should be returned to school by Thursday (or sooner) each week. We will follow the register order so that no one is left out.
