This week, the children edited and completed their character descriptions of The Stone Age Boy. Alongside this, much of our focus has been on practising for the play and carrying out individual reading assessments.

Next week, we will be shifting our attention to Science, as we begin a two-week block on our new topic: Light, Darkness. and .Shadows . We will also continue with further reading and comprehension assessments based on a piece of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.

Maths
I will be continuing our work on Multiplication and Division. The new vocabulary we will be using includes:

• factor × factor = product

• dividend, divisor, quotient

Following my recent email, your child will have brought home their Mathopoly resources, including challenge cards, chance cards, and answers.

• Maths board game (no need to return, but please encourage your child to play at home)
