Dear parents and carers,
It has been an incredibly busy week, with transition days at new schools and new classes here, lots of production prep and sports day! Well done to everyone involved with sports day, it was such a special day and the children all did really well.
The classes have coped really well with being in a slightly different timetable format this week and we can't wait for you to see the results of all their hard work in the show on Wednesday!
We are running a dress rehearsal for the rest of the school to see on Monday, so please make sure any last-minute costume additions are in school for Monday morning!
Next week is going to be hot - the children all need a water bottle and a hat and sun cream is to be applied before they come in.
We would like the children to arrive between 5:30pm and 5:40pm on Wednesday and go straight to their classrooms to get ready for a 6pm start. There will be an interval half-way through, with refreshments available to purchase and the running time is approximately 80 minutes (including the interval). Please note there will be no raised stage in the walled garden - our stage is organic and in the trees! Please feel free to bring chairs/picnic blankets, but we will also have the folding chairs available.
We ask that you please be mindful of where you sit, to give everyone a good view!
Homework is on Atom learning for year 5, English skills books and spellings for both year groups.
