The Week Ahead5 June 2026 (by Sarah Roberts (sroberts)) |
Welcome back to school for the final week of the year. After the gorgeous sunshine of half term, we have had all kinds of weather to put up with this week. Luckily, not too many playtimes were affected and they had plenty of playtimes outside.
History Topic – What does the census tell us about local areas?
We have begun our new history topic and in our first week, we found out what the census is. They even had a go at creating their own census for Investigator Class. Next week, we will look in more detail at what census records can tell us about people.
MTC – the Year 4s have been super this week – they have practised hard, shown a sensible attitude and have all completed the check. Regardless of their results, they should all be very proud of the work they have put in learning their times tables and the progress they have made.
Good news!
Investigator Class won the housepoint competition this week and will have a treat at the end of next week. I’ll let you know what they decide next week.
