Looking ahead to next week 11.05.26...
Highlights this week have been the 1% club TV show themed quizzes and starting our D&T project!
Next week, as Geographers we will be learning about threats to deserts (useful vocabulary for this below).
Agriculture- The process of farming and looking after cattle and crops.
Desertification - When land turns into desert.
Drought- Along period of time without rain in which living things begin to suffer.
Flash flood - A sudden large flood caused by heavy rain
Irrigation- Water provided to an area of land to grow crops.
Year 6 will have the SATS in the mornings, year 5 will be in Investigator. Normal afternoon lessons. In French, we will be reading 'Un Lion a Paris' as a class, focusing on prepositions.
In reading, more of our class text 'The Song walker' and also 'The Final Year' by Matt Goodfellow.

PE will be rounders and Tennis.
Please send in any fabric and shirts for D&T any day this week, but we will need to use them on Thursday.
