Week ahead 5.12.255 December 2025 (by Alice Fletcher-Single (afletcher-single)) |
Endeavour have been amazing this week and I'm so proud of them all!
Year 5 we became designers in computing and you've all blown me away with how quickly you have become familiar with the software!
5 & 6 have really enjoyed our Tudors topic; they have loved learning all about Anne Boleyn and then her daughter Elizabeth I !
They have discussed primary and secondary sources and learned all about what a Royal Progress looked like in the late 1500s!
Year 6 have been practicing SATS for assessment week and I am so impressed with their resilience and positive attitudes! As I told year 6, the more we practice, the more familiar the questions become, and with familiarity comes confidence. They have been fantastic (they will probably be quite tired this weekend!).
- English Skills - please make sure that children are completing the weekly homework
- Reading – Read the next chapter of Treason
- Spellings – weekly spellings to learn – we are on week 6.
- Y6 Atom maths – dividing fractions
- Y5 Atom maths
- Y5 Times Tables Practice – online (TT Rockstars and White Rose 1 Minute Maths app are useful) or any other way of practising – games, reciting, having someone test you, writing them out or using double-sided cards.
We will have lots of festive fun (and couple of assessments to go!) next week, have a wonderful weekend :-)
