Week ahead 28.11.2528 November 2025 (by Alice Fletcher-Single (afletcher-single)) |
Happy Friday, all!
Preparations for Christmas have begun, in Endeavour! We have made a Christmas playlist of our favourite festive songs and started rehearsing carols!
It's not just our classroom window that glistens and shines this week... Year 6 this week have been absolute stars! They have been looking at SATS practice papers and although I've reminded them all that we have a lot of learning to go and not to worry about them, they have all given their absolute best and I'm so proud of them. I have fed back to them individually about how they have done, and have no doubt they will continue their enthusiasm as assessment week continues next week!
In English, the class have been imagining they were an eye witness during Elizabeth I's Royal Progress in Worcester in 1575! They have written some creative accounts of what 'they saw'!
Next week we will be looking at poetry (about Henry VIII) in English and carrying on with our 'Treason' book.
In maths year 6 finish our fractions unit (if you read this out to your child, they'll probably cheer) and will continue to look at reasoning past papers to get used to them.
Please do let me know if you haven't already, if you are happy for your child to take part in the Secret Santa! Presents will be given out on Christmas jumper day (16th).
Maths homework on Atom.
Have a wonderful weekend!
