It looks like the countdown to Christmas has truly begun in Investigator Class as we have started practising our Christmas songs in earnest. Children have been given song words to help them learn and most are available as karaoke versions on YouTube.

Topic and English

It has been an interesting week in our topic work. In History, we asked the question, ‘Why did Henry VIII have so many wives?’ In addition to finding out about the wives and their fates, we took a broader look at Tudor Marriage and the reasons people married. Children wrote a non-chronological report based on their findings.

Next week, Investigator will be studying a range of sources and using our existing knowledge to make deductions and to identify one of Henry’s wives.
