The Week Ahead T2Wk27 November 2025 (by Sarah Roberts (sroberts)) |
Find out what's happening next week in Investigator Class.
What a fabulous first week back! The class have thrown themselves back into learning and school life in general. Our History lesson this week has seen the launch of our Tudors topic. In week one, we asked the question, Was Henry VIII a fair ruler or a tyrant? We studied a range of primary sources - written evidence and portraits - to make judgements about this important historical figure.
Next week, we find out why Henry had so many wives and in English writing lessons, children will use their knowledge to write a report entitled Henry VIII, his wives and marriage in Tudor England.
We are thoroughly enjoying Treason, our shared text. It is not only a gripping read but an excellent source of information about the period. Please make sure your child has a copy if at all possible. Second-hand copies are available online.
