School trip

On Tuesday 4th November 2025, the Challenger Class will be visiting the Pitt Rivers Museum, located at South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3PP.

During our visit, the children will take part in a guided tour focused on traditional Inuit life and how Inuit communities used natural resources to survive in cold environments. We’ll explore Inuit objects throughout the museum, including a hands-on object handling session. There will also be supporting activities and some free time to explore the rest of the museum. We will then write a recount of what they did.

Phonics

This week is another consolidation week so we will check the children are secure with the sounds learnt last term (ay, ou, ie, ea and oy) and carry out assessments.

PE

Pupils should wear PE kits to school on Wednesday (Dance) & Thursday (Tag Rugby).
