Wonderland the Musical

I hope you all enjoyed the upper school performance on Wednesday - I am so incredibly proud of all the children who really dedicated themselves to the show. It was a wonderful success on the night despite the melting heat! A huge well done to all the children.

This Week

This week we will be tying up our topic - discussing what we have learned and thinking about our topic question in detail. Our leavers assembly takes place this Thursday from 2:30pm, I know the Y6s are very excited to show you a collection of their thoughts about their journey through primary school. Also on Thursday, Y6 are allowed to come into school in home clothes clothes. We will be using a 'slip and slide' in the walled garden so please either bring swimsuits or old shorts and a t-shirt to do that. Please can they bring uniform to change into for their leavers assembly. On Friday morning, the Y6s are allowed to have their school shirts signed, if parents are happy with this - I know lots of t-shirts are destined for younger siblings! 

I would like to thank you all for your support this year; I am incredibly sad to be leaving Endeavour classroom but I will sill be in school and spending some time teaching in the lower school. I wish all the children every luck for next year whether they are staying with us here at Nettlebed or moving on to secondary. It has been a real pleasure to teach the class this year and watch the children grow - in every meaning of the word! 

A final well done and good luck to all the Y6s - you have been fantastic this year and I know you will all achieve great things as you move through your educations.
