We are already halfway through term 6 - the weeks are passing by so quickly! Rehearsals are well underway, set design is taking shape and our creativity is in full bloom!

Children are beginning to learn their lines well but please do encourage children to keep learning their words for the songs, they can be found on YouTube if you search 'Wonderland the Musical'. 

We have spoken to the children about costumes - we are attempting to gather costumes that people may have. Please do start to bring in anything your child would like to wear for their character. If there is something you are struggling to find, please do let us know - we are very handy with mask making!

In history this week, we are beginning to explore Viking sagas - what they were and the stories they told. We will then try writing our own moral story over the next two weeks.

Uniform - for our class photos last week, a number of year 6 children came into school in PE kit or trainers despite a number of reminders. Please ensure that children come into school in full school uniform on Mondays, PE is Tuesdays and Fridays for year 6. This hasn't changed. I do absolutely realise that we are at the end of the year but we still have some weeks to go and, apart from hoodies, year 6 children are expected to follow all uniform rules. Thank you in advance for your help with this.

With the hotter weather now upon us, please can you ensure that you child has sun cream applied before coming into school and has a hat and water bottle with them.
