Last week, year 5s had their English learning with Ms Roberts, writing fact files about the world.s most famous rivers whilst year 6s have been spending some time practising some strategies for SATs which will take place next week. Please do ensure that you have read the email sent out about SATs week if your child is in year 6.

In geography this week, we will be asking and exploring, how human beings make use of rivers. Our linked writing this week and next will to write stories with a river as the setting. The children will be given creative freedom so write a story of their choosing as long as it has a river setting! 

Year 6 will spend English lessons completing the final revision sessions before SATs next week.
