What a first week back!

It was a rather unusual first week back - though it was tough going at times, the whole process genuinely made me so proud to be a member of our Nettlebed community. Not only did the children show exemplary behaviour, those that were spoken to by our lovely inspector gave considered and thoughtful answers to questions asked about what life is like here at Nettlebed School. A huge well done to all of Endeavour Class for being such fabulous role models!

Rivers Topic

Having learned geographical terms for features of a river and understanding which course of the river those features are commonly found, the children wrote some beautifully creative setting descriptions. This week, we ask Where can we find rivers? In our topic learning, we will be exploring, naming and locating some of the major rivers of the world. We will then write a Rivers of the World fact file.

Year 6 will focus on revision over the next two weeks in preparation for SATs - please do let me know if you have any questions, queries or concerns.
