Highflyer Class Term 6 Week 27 June 2024 (by Dorothy Wyatt (dwyatt)) |
A great start to Week 2 - we have the visiting farm on Monday and the Y2s will be able to see and ask questions about farm animals and how they are kept on a farm. This links very well with our science and PSHCE this term - 'growing and changing of living things'.
Within our topic we will be learning about the most popular sea-side resorts in the U.K and asking why they are visited by more people than others. There has been sent home on Friday a 'survey sheet' for your child to ask about sea-side holidays family members have experienced and what is remembered best about them. This sheet will be looked at on Tuesday, so please send it into school by then. In the mean-time, we are thinking about our favourite sea-side memories and why it might be special to us.
