Y5 Forest School: Breadsticks and Tie Dye

We had a great afternoon making a fire and cooking breadtwists. This involved alot of patience and concentration. We had a long discussions about why things turn black and which part of the fire is the hottest. Some of the group remembered their fire lighting skills from Y2 and took great pleasure in teaching and coaching others that were finding it tricky - lovely to watch.

Blackberry picking, potions shops were also a big agenda today... im keen to see how this develops as I know this group do love playing shops! We also continued our experiments with making inks for tie dye...
