Welcome back for Term 4 - Highflyer

Welcome back for Term 4 in Highflyer! I hope everyone had a wonderful half term.

Topic/Literacy

Our topic for Term 4 is 'On the water' and this week we will focus on history of boats and ships starting with HMS Highflyer.

SPaG

This week is learning about verbs and how they represent different processes. The spellings are the sound /u/ spelt with ‘o’.

Maths

The children will begin the new unit on Properties of Shape. This week we will look at identifying and making 2D & 3D shapes.

It is WORLD BOOK DAY on Thursday. Children are invited to dress up as their favourite character from a book but please remember that it is a PE day and they will need to bring their PE kits to school to change in to for the afternoon PE session.
