Week Ahead In Discovery 9.5.22
On Thursday 5.5.22 we went on an exciting visit to the Nettlebed Creamery. The children had a wonderful opportunity to learn about the organic cheese making process, with the organic and locally sourced milk from Bix, all waste products being utilised and the best part was tasting the rich creamy milk and cheese.
In class, children looked at the features of a poster, looked at the difference between what makes a good and bad poster. Following on from that, they made and designed their own posters for the Creamery.
The week ahead, we will have our second PSHE lesson. This will be a live lesson on 'My healthy brain and body.' The rest of the week will focus on our Science topic 'Light.'
Maths: Continuation of fractions.
Please see photos below of our visit to Nettlebed Creamery.
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead.
