Week Ahead In Discovery 6.09.21

A massive well done to all the children for settling into class so beautifully! They also had a chance to say, 'Hello' to our class pet Pickle.

On Thursday, planners were issued to all the children. I would really appreciate if parents/carers and children could sign the school agreement section in your child's planner.

Children must read daily and planners signed.

Spellings - On Friday, the children were given their spellings to learn during the week. There will be a spelling test on Friday.

English / Topic- Our focus this week will be 'writing instructions.' The children will write their own set of instructions for catching a bear. For inspiration, we will be using Michael Rosen's story book 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' and spending time in our lovely walled garden.

Maths- We have already started our term 1 autumn unit on Place Value.

RE - Hinduism
