Week ahead in Discovery 11.09.22

I am so impressed with all the children! They've settled into their new class so beautifully and showing a willingness to learn.

The week ahead, all children will look at the importance and features of a poster. They will gather information before designing their own eco-school poster.

On Thursday, we will conduct a mini litter pick around the school and local community. Please ensure that your child has appropriate outdoor clothes and footwear.

It will be very helpful if your child could bring into school a small bag of clean recyclable waste. The recycling will be used to make a picture/model, thank you.

Maths: Continuation of Place value unit.

Homework: Spellings will be handed to the class this week and tested on Friday morning. They will issued homework books later this term. However, there will be other work set for them in their planners. All children should read daily.
