Week Ahead In Discovery 10.5.21
It was a great opportunity to discuss your child's progress in our parent/teacher appointments last week. It shows how well the children have settled in and got back into school life.
English: Last week, the children wrote fiction stories based on their vehicles. They designed a moving vehicle made out of recycled materials. Due to the bank holiday Monday, a day of writing and completing stories in school wasn't possible. As homework, the children have taken their story books to complete at home. This will need to remain as independent work and due back in school on Thursday 13th May 21.
The week ahead: We will be looking into the life of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the first landing on the moon. Using all information about NA and Apollo 11 lunar mission, they will write an eye-witness account.
Maths: Continuing with 'Time'.
Homework- daily reading, spellings, timetables and completing stories.
