Week ahead 14.9.2020

A huge well done to all the children for completing a full week in school! The children have settled into their new routine and class so beautifully. Their willingness to learn has really impressed me.

Topic : World War 2

Last week the children learned when and why the war started, names of some important leaders, learning and organising events in chronological order and writing a short diary entry.

This week children will be taught about letter writing. The difference between formal and informal letters and types of informal letters. All children will write a letter to their families as evacuees.

Maths: We have looked at place values and we will continue this for the next 2 weeks.

Reading, Maths and Spellings: All children must continue to read at home everyday. Please ensure your child's planner is signed. Maths homework will be issued every week based on what the children have already learned in class. Homework should be submitted by Thursday each week. Spelling test will be on a Friday morning, the scores will be in your child's planner.

Thank you for your continued supported.
