Week 4 in Unicorn class

This week we have continued looking at sources of light, particularly thinking about candles. We have used clay to mould tealight holders and decorated tubes to make model candles. We have also looked at the difference between daytime and night time and our routines, what would you normally do in the morning?

As it is getting into winter we thought about how we can help the birds find food and made our own bird feeders to place around our outside area. The children all combined the ingredients and helped to carefully hang them up high in the trees, I am sure there will be lots of happy birds this weekend!

In between all of this learning we have been practicing our Christmas songs, helping us all to feel confident with the words and the actions to perform in 2 weeks time!
