Week 3 in Unicorn class

This week we have continued our topic of light and dark and looked at different sources of light. We learnt about shadows, experimented how we can make these and even made our own shadow puppets!

We have done lots of painting using our fingers to make colourful butterflies and have also been super busy baking! Everyone made their own Pizza, spreading and layering the different ingredients before enjoying them as an afternoon snack. We have also had two birthdays to celebrate and have been lucky enough to enjoy cakes and sweeties.

All of the children are growing in confidence and thoroughly enjoying playing together, they often have 'tea/lunch/breakfast' together in our home corner, read books and show incredible teamwork and determination to complete tricky puzzles.
