Week 3, Term 5 Highflyers

Friday’s Daily Mile was a lovely start to the day. The children behaved impeccably and represented Nettlebed really well.

Eco Council

Congratulations to Zoe and Ava for winning the class vote to become school Eco-Councillors! All the children that stood for election gave enthusiastic and heartfelt speeches and should feel very proud of themselves.

This week the Highflyers will be writing their own fictional story. It will be based on a transport of their choice going on an adventure. They will build a transport model in D&T, and use this for inspiration.

Spellings this week will be words ending in -tion and homophones and near homophones (conjunctions).

In maths they will continue learning about comparing, measuring and ordering lengths and heights.
