Week 2 in Unicorn class
For our first week back we looked at cars, completed an obstacle course, practiced lots of counting and of course made pancakes!
The children all loved making and eating the pancakes, they enjoyed using maple syrup, banana and blueberries to top their pancakes.
In the week the children all took part in an obstacle course, practicing our balancing, skipping, climbing and crawling, it was great to discuss and explore lots of different ways we could move across the room.
In forest school we became super detectives and found worms hiding in the mud. We looked at the worms and noticed how they are all different lengths and widths. The children loved exploring through the mud for the wiggly worms.
Next week we are continuing our theme of transport by looking at hot air balloons and specialist vehicles such as, police cars, fire engines and ambulances.
