W/B 22.3.21 in Discovery Class

Last week was a lot of fun! Children tried a bit of Indian food and we made a refreshing mango laasi (smoothie). Making the lassi was a great experience as the children saw all the ingredients, equipment required and a step by step practical guide. This spurred them on to write their own instructions successfully.

The week ahead- Children will write a diary entry for each day. It will involve an itinerary. The children will use their imagination to write from all the videos and the information they have gathered on India.

Maths: Continuation of fractions

Science: Animals including humans

To bring a close to our India topic on Friday, children are welcome to take part in the festival of colour. Please could you ensure that your child has a spare set of clothes that you or your child are not too fussed about. The colour does wash out but just to be on the safe side.
