Congratulations! We made it! Well done for all your hard work this year - it's always a surprise, when I'm writing reports, to look back at the beginning of the year and to see how everybody has moved on and how much has been achieved. Given the exceptional circumstances this year, all the children have made great progress not just academically but in their resilience, their ability to cope with change and, I think, in recognising what is really important to them.
Thank you all for your very kind words at the end of term and for the very generous gift which I will use for something in my lovely new garden. Every time I look at it I will think of school with fond memories. Thank you too for the flowers and cards that make it feel as cheerful inside the house as out.
