Term 5, Week 2, Highflyers

We have had a fantastic start to the term! The Highflyers enjoyed their music lessons especially Bruno Mars song Count on Me.

Topic/ Literacy

This week will continue to carry out research on the 5 main oceans and write a fact file based on what we learn. We are also having a live online draw-along with bestselling, award-winning children’s author and illustrator, Rob Biddulph on Monday. This is to mark the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort in May.

SPaG

In SPaG we will be looking at the different word classes: nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Spellings are the suffixes –less and –ly.

Maths

In maths we will continue learning about Fractions. This will include recognising a third, unit and non-unit fractions.
