Literacy / Topic

This week the children will write a letter to Father Christmas.

SPaG

We will continue to focus on Functions of Sentences: Statements, Questions, Commands and Exclamations, and the spellings this week are Common exception words.

Maths

This week will include: Lines of symmetry on shapes, Use lines of symmetry to complete shapes, Sort 2-D shapes, and Count faces & edges on 3-D shapes.

Science

We will continue with the unit ‘Use of Everyday Materials’.

Please let me know if you did not receive the email about costumes for the Christmas Performance. It would be great to get them in school asap.
