Next Week in Challenger (Wk4)
We had great fun on Friday! At the start of the day we welcomed Charlie from Y2 who presented his video showing us around the dairy at Merrimoles Farm. We saw the cows being milked and Charlie explained how silage is made. It was very interesting and informative.
Later in the day we churned butter using cream from the Creamery, Children also made their 'healthy sandwiches' which they had designed ealier in the week using the 'Eatwell Plate' as guidance and thinking about different food groups. I hope they enjoyed their sandwiches after school on Friday. On Monday morning they will be evaluating their sandwich design and thinking about how they could have made them even tastier.
This coming week we are looking forward to our visit to The River and Rowing Museum on Tuesday. Children should wear school uniform. Please keep an eye on the weather and make sure children are prepared with raincoats or sun hats and sun cream.

In English children will write a recount of our trip to the River and Rowing Museum.
