KS1 Cross Country

What a fabulous afternoon we had at the KS1 Cross Country at Langtree yesterday. Everyone in Year 1 and Year 2 took part and we saw plenty of 'reaching up and reaching out' throughout the afternoon. There were some strong individual performances and great team efforts.

Year 1 girls came first in the team event, with individual first and second places for Phoebe S and Clemence respectively. In the Year 1 boys race, Rory came third. The Year 2 boys came second in the team event, The whole Nettlebed team came an impressive third overall. What a brilliant result!

Congratulations to Ahlam in Y1 and Aaron in Y2 who were awarded Olympic Value medals for their excellent perseverance and courage in their races.

The running was great and the wonderful Nettlebed team spirit with all the children tirelessly cheering on their team mates was lovely to witness.
