Investigators: Week Ahead

The Christmas build up has begun!

We were really busy with Christmas preparations last week - the children have loved learning their dance! It has been such a joy to see some huge changes in the children‘s confidence as we have practised it.

It was so wet last Thursday that we were not able to do PE outside and so, resorted to some PE with Joe which the children absolutely loved.

When it has been raining, we have had to stop the children playing out in the rain if they don’t have a coat - we absolutely don’t want to stop any children playing outside so please can you make sure that your child has a coat in school, particularly if it‘s going to be a really wet day. We were able to offer a spare coat or two but a teacher’s rain mac isn’t very desirable! Thank you in advance for your help with this.

This Week

We are finishing our unit on length and measurement in Maths with a small assessment of the knowledge we have learned.

I am really excited to look at play script texts, learn how to understand them and have a try at writing our own scenes with stage directions!

We are finally filming our Christmas dance and other performances for our Christmas assembly - could the children please bring in some black clothes, any clothes are fine as long as they can dance in them, and a Christmas hat if you have one.

Have a wonderful week.
