Investigator Class: Term 5, Week 5

So, our final week of term already! The weeks have flown by; the children have worked exceptionally hard this term.

You may have heard that the end of year play this year, will be Macbeth! This week, we will spend time listening to the story and fully understanding it before appointing parts, to be announced to the children on Friday. They will have a script and will be able to begin learning any lines over half term.

We also focus on our DT learning this week. We will visit Nettlebed Creamery and Cheese Shed then will work on some packaging for some cheese. The children will be encouraged to think about marketing and advertising their product.

As ever, thank you for all the support with the children’s learning at home. If your child is in Y4, please do encourage further times table practise - after half term we will be setting a date for the standardised Multiplication Check. I will communicate this as soon as I can.

Reminder:

It is non-uniform day on Friday in exchange for prize for the tombola, taking place at our summer fair on June 12th.

Have a brilliant week,

Mrs Burbedge
