Investigator Class: Our last week of term!

The colour run was so much fun!! Everyone had such a brilliant time on Friday - it was a great way to finish the week and our India topic by acknowledging Holi, the festival of colour. It certainly was pretty colourful - everywhere! The sheer joy on the children's faces and in their squeals really was lovely to experience.

The Week Ahead

Tomorrow, we will be taking part in some fruit tree planting in the walled garden and will then be taking part in activities outside for the majority of the day. The children will be actively take part in digging, manure mixing and planting of the trees – our class has chosen to plant and look after, a cherry and an apple tree. We will all be planting sunflowers and doing other outdoor craft activities so please remember warm clothes, a waterproof coat and wellies/walking boots.

On Tuesday, we will be learning about the Easter story, completing our Asha & the Spirit Bird story and doing some Indian block printing. Wednesday is when the big Easter Egg Hunt will take place!

Don’t forget that we finish between 1:15 and 1:30pm on Wednesday.

Have a great week.
