This week Adventure children have worked hard recognising and writing our new letters g, o, c, k. Also we had a go at blending the letters sounds to create words! We have practiced it, at, in, on, is and some CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) words with different resources.
In Maths we have been practising 1 to 1 correspondence by counting numbers at the same time as moving or tagging objects. We have explored all sort of things that can be counted, including sounds or things that we can't move or touch. Also we have practiced our ability to make patterns with coloured pegs, objects and movements.
Regarding our Great Outdoors topic, this week we have gone out the school, into Sue Ryder grounds to look for all types of rocks. We read a book to know more details about it.
