Highflyer class - Week beg. 8.11.21

The week ahead..

Topic/Literacy

This week the Highflyers will learn about ancient Greek mythology. They will write a recount of the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur.

SPaG

The spelling to learn this week are focusing on the sound /l/ spelt with ‘-el’ at the end of words.

We will also focus on compound words.

Maths

We will continue the unit on Addition & Subtraction. The children will focus on subtraction crossing 10, subtract a 1-digit number from a 2-digit number -crossing 10, adding two 2-digit numbers crossing ten, and subtracting a 2-digit number from a 2-digit number.
