Final Week of Term 5 23.5.22

We have another busy week ahead of us before the half term break. Term 5 has whizzed by and the children have enjoyed the topic and all the lovely learning experiences. Last week, was exciting, as the children had the opportunity to visit the River and Rowing Museum, learn and conduct experiments about rivers.

In class, we made our own butter. The cream was sourced locally from The Nettlebed Creamery.

The week ahead, we will focus on our second D& T project. We will make bread in class/school and all the children will have the opportunity to design the look of their bread in groups. We will then taste it using the butter made on Friday.

From this practical experience, in English, the children will write instructions on how to make bread.

Maths- Time

Learning to tell the time. Please could I request that you ask the children to tell the time at home using both an analogue and digital clocks.

We have completed our fractions unit and I'm very pleased with the assessment results.

Please see pictures attached from last week.

Hope you all have a lovely week.
