Endeavour Class -The Week Ahead.
Dear Endeavour Class,
This week is the start of Term 2 and a brand new topic to find out about - North America. We will be learning about the geography of the continent and the different countries that make it up. A major part is the United States of America, and, as currently the main topic over there is the Presidential Election, we will be investigating further about the process and thinking about who we would vote for!

Maths topics are division this week. We will also be consolidating multiplication and practising formal methods.
Please continue practising times tables. This knowledge to recall facts quickly is vital to help with many maths concepts. There will be regular tests every week.
Spellings have been sent home during the last Thursday before the break and will be tested next Thursday on the 5th November. They will be a 'pick and mix' from the previous six weeks. The complete list was given and stuck in your child's planner. A copy is below. Maths homework is Test 5, due in 5 November, when it will be marked. If your child finishes their homework earlier, then they are welcome to bring it into school before Thursday. A reminder too that P.E. days are on Monday and Wednesday and to bring in a coat and a change of shoes with the weather being cooler and wetter. All breaks will be outside unless it is torrential rain. If your child is in Year 5 and attends Forest School on a Wednesday, please ensure they have a full set of warm waterproof clothing which must be changed into during lunchtime so they are prepared for the afternoon and whatever the weather maybe that day.
