Endeavour Class - Term 6 - Week 3

Dear Parents,
On Monday afternoon this week, weather permitting, Year 5 and 6 are having an orienteering session and another opportunity for the Yr 5s to be as a year group, practising their leadership skills. This will be a P.E. activities session so please wear P.E. kit. An email was sent out on Friday last week with these details.
We continue to focus on learning our play - A Midsummer Night's Dream. Please ensure your child comes to school with their script everyday.
We also had a good discussion about improvements in Nettlebed village last week with a visitor from the Parish Council, with a focus on what is needed for the youth of the village. This aspect will continue to be investigated further and we will put our thoughts from the class with a letter to the Parish Council.
In maths we are studying geometry and properties of shape. Assessments in different subjects will also be taking place at different points over the next two weeks.
There is English Skills homework to hand in and mark on the Wednesday morning and Maths homework and a spelling test on Thursday. Please remember to bring your homework to school on the day it should be marked.
P.E. days are Tuesday and Wednesday this term. Year 5 have Forest School on Wednesday.
Kind regards
Mrs Wyatt
