Endeavour Class - Term 6 - Week 2

Dear Parents,

If your child took part in the Bikeability last week, then they had a great learning experience. It was a real joy to see the excitement and motivation, especially as the weather was kind as well. On that note, please make sure your child has had sunscreen applied before arriving at school and a hat plus a water bottle would be advisable with this very hot weather.

On Monday, the Year 5s have an opportunity to be as a year group and studying leadership skills. There will be P.E. activities with this and they are welcome to wear P.E. kit if they so wish.

This week we having a focus on learning our play - A Midsummer Night's Dream. There will be activities related to the drama as part of our English. Please ensure your child comes to school with their script everyday. We will be also looking at our geography topic this term - Field Studies - looking at Nettlebed village at the start.

In maths we will have a variety of investigations and problems to solve during the week.

There is English Skills homework to hand in and mark on the Wednesday morning and Maths homework and a spelling test on Thursday. Please remember to bring your homework to school on the day it should be marked.

P.E. days are Tuesday and Wednesday this term. Year 5 have Forest School on Wednesday.
