Endeavour Class: Term 6, Week 1

A huge welcome back to school for our final term of the year! I hopie you all had a wonderful half term break and enjoyed the lovely weather.

Our topic this term is Crime & Punishment. We will be looking at crimes and the associated punishments through the ages. Please do take a look at the curriculum letter and topic web here.

This week we will begin a full play rehearsals - we have asked the children to learn their lines by this Friday, in the hope that we can rehearse without scripts next week. We will, of course, still be prompting them. The children have begun to ask about costumes - unfortunately we are not able to provide every child with their costume, though we do have some items. If you are able, it would help us if you are able to borrow or use costume items from home, however, if there is something which your child needs and you are unable to source it, please do get in touch and we can help. Unfortunately for the boys, there will be a lot of tights!!!

On Thursday morning, we have a visit from a Langtree School teacher who will have some time with those children moving on to Langtree as part of their transition.

On Thursday afternoon, I will be taking the children that qualified for the next round of Quad Kids to the next competition. Everybody did so well last term - good luck to those that made qualification.

I will be in touch by the end of the week regarding homework expectation.
