Endeavour Class - Term 5 - Week 3
I do hope you enjoyed a relaxed long weekend but it does mean that this week is only four days.
As a quick overview we are reading Wolf Brother and looking at the chronology of the Early Stone Age to the Neolithic Stone age. We are studying the shelters and homes that Stone Age man would have had to live in and begin to appreciate the hunter-gatherer lifestyle.
In maths we are continuing studying statistics. We are looking at tables and understanding how to read, draw and interpret them.
This week are the parent/teacher meetings on Tuesday and Thursday. You should have received a slip from your child stating your time. All meetings will be online unless agreed otherwise. Please look out for the link invitation by email on Tuesday 4th May.
There is English Skills homework to hand in and mark on the Wednesday morning and Maths homework and a spelling test on Thursday. If you need a copy, here are the spellings below. Spellings were handed out last week on Thursday.
Also remember that P.E. days are Tuesday and Wednesday this term. Year 5 have Forest School on Wednesday.
