We had such a lovely start to the term - Year 6 have been working hard at some SATS revision whilst Year 5 have been working on some spring poems with Mrs Hall.
This week, Year 6 we begin our week with an upper school rounders session before we log on to a Draw Along session with illustrator, Rob Biddulph, in celebration of the King's coronation this weekend.
Year 6 start some writing based on the picture above - they will write a setting description, using as much figurative language as possible.
In geography this week, we will have an introduction to our Fieldwork study - children will work in groups to work out a way to investigate the impact of traffic on our village.
We held auditions for parts in the end of year play last week; the children were incredibly brave and did a fantastic job! Parts will be announced by the end of the week!!
Year 6 look so smart in their leavers hoodies, they are welcome to wear them any day.
Wishing you a fabulous week ahead.
