Dear Parents and Carers,
For most of Year 5 and 6, we have spent last week at Kilvrough Manor OEC and learning new experiences and finding out about fresh challenges. Although it was a new experience for most, after a couple of days, everyone settled into the routines and became much more independant. The activities were exciting and all challenging in various ways. Additionally, the weather was wonderful all week. For the end of January, the temperature was fairly mild with hardly any breeze - and we had warm sunshine. That really made it perfect!
Following this, we will be creating a fact file of memories and experiences and writing about some aspects of our learning.
In maths this term for Y6, we are moving onto decimals and continuing with converting units. Y5 are studying multiplication and division. Please encourage your child to practise time tables everyday. Don't forget they have a Times Table Rock Stars account.
Reminders: P.E. days continue to be Tuesday and Friday for Year 6. Forest School for Year 5s is on Tuesday and P.E. is on Friday.
