Dear Parents and Carers,
Greek mythology shows what a vivid imagination the Ancient Greeks had and a powerful belief in explaining mysteries they could not understand in those days. We still enjoy them today and will find out about some of the main creatures and their stories before writing our own. We are continuing to create a presentation about Ancient Greece using powerpoint on their account which they can share with you at home.
In maths, we are problem solving and reasoning in all four operations before we start fractions.
The knowledge of times tables is really important so please encourage your child to practice a little every day. Don't forget they have a Times Table Rock Stars account.
There will be some assessment activities over the next couple of weeks.
This week there is a boys' football tournament on Thursday afternoon. If you have been contacted about this then please wear P.E. kit into school.
