Discovery Class- Week Ahead
It has been another week of fun. The children in Discovery have learnt all about 'Propaganda Posters' that were used in WW2. They heard the story about 'the true story of the three little pigs', told from the wolf's point of view. They also learnt the art of persuasion this week. In pairs they presented their own little speech to Mrs Greenwood, which were very convincing. The children designed and created their fantastic propaganda posters. Please look at the our display board below this message.
In the coming week, we will be looking at Morse code and comprehension passage based on our WW2 topic.
Maths: Continuation of addition and subtraction unit.
DT: Children have designed their own VE day cards and in the process of making their own pop cards.
Homework: will be sent home every Friday. This will include weekly spellings, times tables, maths booklet (page 2 section A and B) and reading everyday. Please could ensure that your child's planner is signed each time you hear them read. Thank you for your support!
In the week ahead, I shall look forward to speaking or meeting most of you in our zoom meeting either on Tuesday or Thursday. The zoom meeting link will be emailed by the office to all the parent's in Discovery Class.
